Honor Your Rest & Sleep


Have you heard these before? "No rest for the wicked." "I'll sleep when I'm dead." "I'll power through." "Who needs sleep anyway?"


Rest and sleep is incredibly important. When we aren't well rested, our moods, focus, and overall energy are all negatively impacted.


Make time for and honor your rest and sleep periods. The more you do, the more effective you'll be.


If you don't take time to rest or sleep, your mind, body, and heart will make you... and it'll happen at the most inconvenient time.


Need help resting or sleeping? Examine your sleep hygiene habits and/or talk with a counselor to curb thoughts and behaviors that are preventing good sleep.
