Assessment Services & Rates

The State of Florida includes mental health/mental illness as a disability which may qualify for special accommodations. An assessment may be conducted to identify the aspects of life which are impacted by mental health, and potential reasonable accommodations which may make access to education, the workplace, or housing more equitable. The counselor can provide a summary of this information to the third party, per your authorization.

Note: Some disability service providers may have specific requirements as to the type of clinician that conducts the evaluation, the length of treatment, etc. It is your responsibility to consult with the disability services organization regarding their requirements and determine if Stone Counseling & Consulting Services will meet those requirements. Accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

*This service is available only to individuals who are established counseling clients with Stone Counseling & Consulting Services, or an established client at another counseling practice with documented clinical records released to SC&CS from their primary clinician. First-time clients are not eligible for this service until they have completed at least 3 counseling sessions.

An emotional support animal is an animal that provides emotional comfort and support for an individual living with various mental and emotional disabilities. There are a a variety of important differences and legal rights applicable to Emotional Support Animals in which Becky is well-versed. If you are interested in seeking an endorsement for an Emotional Support Animal, an assessment may be conducted to identify the aspects of life which are impacted by mental or emotional health, and potential reasonable accommodations which may make access to housing or air travel more equitable. Read more about Emotional Support Animals in Rebecca's Lake Mary Life Magazine column. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and/or Gallup Strengths Finder assessments may be administered to allow clients greater insight into their personality and/or strengths.

Note: Not all assessments are reimbursable by insurance. It is your responsibility to consult with your insurance company regarding assessment reimbursements and determine if the assessment you are interested in qualifies.

The Strong Interest Inventory and/or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) may be administered to provide insights into a client's interests and personality types which may lend well to certain career types.
